@MalFromed Yeah. I'm just taking this year one step at a time. I guess a cynical way of putting it is that I don't have the luxury of making a resolution yet. I have too many things on my plate to add yet another thing to hold myself accountable to.
A person just like you. In every way, even.
Bum.

Gimmick
time has gone by so fast I haven't even stopped to think that I should make new years resolutions

Ain't that the truth? But honestly, I wouldn't stress over it too much. I haven't a clue why anybody would get thrilled about New Year's resolutions to begin with. Don't mean to sound like a pessimist or anything, but it's just another day. If the thing you want to do is really something to get excited about, why wait till a new year to do it? Far better to slowly build it up as a routine rather than make some big event out of something that might ultimately end in burnout.
Then again, you could end up like me and fall out of a routine and wind up struggling to get back on track. This, incidentally, leads to a big (yet anti-climactic) moment where you get back on track, sit down and get back to doing the thing.
So I guess in the end, it just boils down to what poison you want to pick.
