I don't mean to nitpick (as I proceed to nitpick), but I couldn't help notice something that irked me. There's a bit of inconsistency in the vector lines that I can see even without enlarging the image. The lines overlap, and I feel it could have benefited from a bit of refinement. If my assumption is correct, you were trying to use thicker lines around the curved ends of the pills to add a bit of depth, which I think was a pleasant touch. Another thing that caught my attention is that the shine on the red part of the uncapped drive is really spotty for some reason. Even though it probably wasn't intentional, I actually really like that. It gives the impression that the pill is not perfectly smooth. Like it's seen some use. Finally, like with your other work, good use of colors. I hope you don't see me as hating this as I find it simple and enjoyable.

Is that a Caterpillar in a Jarâ„¢? That has to be a scam. Everybody knows there ain't no more caterpillars crawlin' about anymore. Have you seen any? I have not. Just go outside. You will see in your heart of hearts that what I say rings true. And I hear you. "It's winter!" you say. Oh, so the caterpillars just magically became lazy? Nice try.

Good taste, man, good taste. Dreamland 3 is such a charming game and has a wonderful art style, but it often gets overshadowed by Super Star. Don't get me wrong, Super Star is a great game, but it's just missing that aesthetic, you know? Sadly, whenever I see somebody talk about Super Star, they needlessly act cruel to Dreamland 3, for whatever reason. Anyway, even if this is an old piece of art, it's still pleasant all the same. The attempt to capture the art style is not lost on me.

Beatumpop responds:

Thanks for the review! and yeah I totally agree, I used to play Super Star all the time with my little brother and while it was a really fun game Dreamland 3's aesthetic always made me come back to it. The music in that game is fantastic too :)

Nice redesign! But those shoes... I can't think of a single person who would be caught dead in those except maybe a crazy homeless guy...

Adamas28 responds:

Let me guess, this crazy homeless guy is purple, huge, uses his middle fingers as claws and his name is Maxx?

Bugsnax, huh?

Holy Moly! When I first clicked on this, I thought it was a 3D model! It's only when I looked more closely did I realize it was a charcoal drawing! Astounding work!

AKroesch responds:

Thank you so much!

Just hammin' it up, I see.

Also, I don't mean to take the wind out of your sails, truly I don't, but is its left arm longer than its right? Just thought I'd ask.

Certly responds:

Ah don't worry bout it boss, criticism is welcome. I actually saw that too, but I noticed it too late. It had already been hours since I posted it on twitter, so I just said fuck it.

You know, I started following you a while back because you kept showing up on my radar and since then, my feed has been graced with this noodle cat alien (From cult classic RPG series, Earthbound, that goes by the series title, "Mother," in Japan.) on a relatively consistent basis. From this experience, there's a very striking realization that I have made. That being, "I should not fear the person that draws a million OCs, but rather, fear the person that draws the same OC a million times," Indeed, you have struck fear into my heart.

Alright, snark aside, I really do enjoy your art. I should really go look at your older work sometime. Now, as for your OC, I got to say I don't think I've ever seen somebody make a Giygas inspired OC before, so I got to give you some points for not being boring. I should also mention, I enjoy the recent edition of early 90s type clothing to your character. To me, the early 90s is very indicative of an awkward child, especially when it comes to its fashion sense, and your character being an extraterrestrial only adds to that quirky charm. So yeah, keep doin' what you're doin'. (You can't see it, but I'm giving you the big thumbs up.)

Hmm... Those owo people warned about you uwu folk... But I like the shading on this, so I GUESS you're alright...

This looks more like someone displaying disgust then it does cringe.

A person just like you. In every way, even.

Bum.
