You know, I've always thought about playing through the Starfy series but just never got around to it.

Seeing as you might be knowledgeable, I have a question: From what I've seen, the characters all look like they're Plushies/Stuffed Animals, so are they like toys in the ocean, or do they just look like that?

I think it’s just the aesthetic, like during gameplay everything looks regular, but in the profile pictures all of the characters look like stuffed puppets and their mouths move that way. From what I remember it’s never brought up why they look that way, but I’ve only played the one for the DS; it’s possible there’s some deep starfy lore I’m unaware of.

Aside from what's obviously there, I see some kind of beast staring back at me in a deceptive manner akin to something like a crocodile.
