Absolutely fantastic! I cannot find a single flaw with this, so I must give it a perfect score! I think this is your best piece yet!
Again, amazing work!

You got excellent taste in Digital Monsters there, sir.
I'm not sure if this is that ambitious project you were talking about, but regardless this turned out fantastic! If I had one complaint, it would be a particular color choice in the top right image specifically. I was originally going to whine about the background, but then I realized the muted tones help balance it out with the other pieces. And that's when I noticed the third color at the top and bottom of her hair. That is to say that it's hardly noticeable. It blends in a little too much with the rest of her hair, affecting readability. Other than that, you did an amazing job!
As for the animations, even though they're not extravagant or anything, you did a great job there as well! You managed to make each one move in a way that complements their respective image.
Also, don't take what I say with too much weight. I've been in a fist fight with a color wheel for the past 8 hours...
Thank you very much! Yes, this was the ambitious project. It seemed more intimidating in my head but everything fell into place when I started working on it. Ah yes, that third colour in the girl’s hair. You have valid criticism there. I didn’t want to make the hair look orange (more of a golden blonde), so I wanted to use a muted colour but it ended up not being that visible anyway. Hm, maybe looking at some reference pictures of golden blonde hair more carefully would’ve helped there. I’ll remember that for future projects.
Hah, who doesn’t have some problem with colours? I recently have been using some colour palettes to help me with my art. I hope to learn what colours naturally look better that way.
Carp's looking pretty fresh there.
Also, nice sprites. In particular, I like the fellow in the top image, on the far left. Head reminds me of a melting candle.
Thanks, his name is Willson.
Better than going through life with baby thumb.
Imagine having to go through life wearing extra long sleeve shirts due to a crippling fear of people mocking you for your undersized thumbs. Not to mention all the friends you would lose. One of them could do something cool from a distance and look at you for approval, but you can never give them the thumbs-up they desire. That they deserve (hey man, let's be real, it was a cool trick). They can never know. Doctors can offer you prosthetics that go over your thumbs to make them look bigger, but the second somebody challenges you to thumb wrestling, you know it's over. You would never even know the simple joy of snapping your fingers. Be thankful for being born with adequate thumbs. Count your blessings... Count them with your thumbs!
You don't know what you got until you never had it to begin with...
Oh, why, thank you! But I need to be careful not to build up too much self confidence, or I might start thinking I can fight an oncoming train or something!
I mean, I can, but that's not the point...
Well, hold on now, that depends. Was it a cutscene death or a gameplay death?
Okay, now he's just showing off. Then again, if I had footwear this nice...
So is that a really big cookie or is she just really small?
I don't want to make assumptions just because she's an ant.
The Moth get some of that frozen glittering bacon and I don't!? Yeah, yeah... I see how it is...
A person just like you. In every way, even.
Bum.
